My name is Wendy and I am the practice manager. In fact, I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2000, and used this veterinary nursing knowledge together with previous skills to take on that role of practice manager. I am pleased to say that it has been a very rewarding position, and I have enjoyed watching the staff and the practice develop and grow over the last 3 years. I hope to continue being a part of this, and to further develop my skills in the future.

I still enjoy all aspects of nursing, especially dentistry, and completed a BVNA certificate in animal dentistry in 2004.

Another role I enjoy is being a qualified assessor to the trainee nurses. I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my nurses attain their qualifications and knowing that all the hard work we all put in was worth it.

Out with work I enjoy reading and spending time with my cat, Huey.
